Today we were surprised by the very fast delivery of the P-ROC, about 18 hours after it cleared Customs. After installing it we could only run a quick test without the DMD and still had some problems with our Python paths.
We moved the Bride next to our Creature so we could hook Creature's DMD up to the bride (we do have an extra DMD to put in the Bride but haven't found the right voltages yet). After this had been done and the Python base path had been adjusted we could run our bop.py game file and enjoy the default Attract mode Adam has put in. The switches and coils were working right off the bat, meaning that the yaml file was correct too.
Only the flippers didn't work yet. Turns out the Bride doesn't have a Fliptronics board; I really hope there's another solution to connect the flipper switches because else we're screwed!
Barry was anticipating viewing his animations on the DMD, but we had some problems with converting them to a correct .dmd file. We probably have to use a certain .png setting but haven't figured out which one.
We were satisfied with how much was already working, but we're a bit worried about the flippers right now.
